Litro Plus device-management policy
Last updated: 2026-10-15
Individual use and device slots
Litro Plus is for one individual and up to three registered syncing mobile devices. Offline devices occupy their slots; browsers consume no slot. A shared login does not create licences for other drivers.
Preview and replacements
Replacement limits are proposed starting rules measured during invitation preview. Quota refusals and extra quota-related challenges are not enforced in measurement mode. The three-device maximum and existing security checks apply. A separate announcement establishes contractual enforcement; preview replacements do not consume that allowance.
The account includes three self-service ordinary slot replacements per rolling twelve calendar months. Initial use of each of the three original slots is free of replacement counting. Every completed ordinary replacement, including a support-approved extra, counts until its UTC twelve-month anniversary, with month-end clamping. Removal neither consumes nor replenishes allowance. Reassigning a used slot or reactivating a removed registration counts unless verified recovery applies. A normal sign-in, update, or reconnect preserving the registration does not count. Payments, renewals, cancellation, resubscription and January 1 never reset usage.
After three counted events, further replacements require recovery or support review; the subscription is not suspended. Self-service returns when usage falls below three. With five events, the third event must age out before it returns. Frequent changes may require account reauthentication, which proves account control rather than single-driver use.
Recovery and compromised devices
Verified reinstall recovery and Litro-caused identity corrections are exempt from counting, not authorization rules. Rebinding invalidates superseded credentials; two installations cannot share one slot. Device names and claims of the same phone are insufficient proof. Litro does not collect IMEI or invasive hardware fingerprints for this policy.
Lost or compromised devices can be revoked immediately. Pending approval leaves the working device authorized. Only the proposed registration is held; existing devices, browser access, billing, privacy operations and local recording continue unless independently restricted for security. Local records and pending uploads are preserved. Contact support@litro.ca for recovery or additional replacement review.
Technical service limits
Sync requests are bounded to 100 records and 1 MiB decoded content. Large batches are split; oversized individual records receive actionable failures. Temporary throttling supplies retry guidance without discarding changes. Service outages do not establish expiry.
Synchronous reports are bounded to 1,000 trips, 1,000 refuels, 60 columns, 4 MB and 100 PDF pages. Larger selections fail explicitly rather than omit records. Available asynchronous jobs have bounded queues and private artifacts expiring within 24 hours; availability depends on implemented readiness. Archive availability is deferred. Internal investigation signals are not customer allowances.
Subscription terms describe retention, consented imports, recovery periods and report access.
